How it works

You will be given a date and time for your appointments. Arrive to the clinic 10 minutes before your appointment time and wait in your car or outside. if you have provided a mobile number and have given consent to receive text messages, you will be sent a text message to say when the nurse/doctor is ready for you to come in. if not you will receive a call to come in. Please do not come into the reception area unless you have been instructed to do so.

You can post in any letters or forms that you need the Dr to see, or in mycorkgp.ie St Marys, there is a fixed post box on the wall where you can drop of anything that you need to as long as it is in a secure envelope with your name on it. This is monitored and emptied 3 times a day.

If you are on long-term medication, or regularly get the same repeat medication you can request a repeat prescription online here. You will need to provide your name, contact details, and names of the medications you are requesting. You will then state what pharmacy you are nominating for your medication to be sent to. This request is then reviewed by an admin and prepared and sent to a doctor for review. Once the doctor reviews your file and ensures it is still appropriate for you to be on these medications your script will then be signed.

If you require a prescription for a medication previously prescribed to you by the doctor, or a new hospital prescription, you may request a new script. Please let us know the reason for your request. Non-repeat medication may require a telephone consult with a doctor as they may wish to speak with you.
