Colin Bradley, as well as being a GP, is Professor of General Practice in UCC. Originally from Co Tyrone, he did his medical degree in Trinity College Dublin and then his GP training in Cork. After that he went to England where he worked in Manchester and Birmingham before returning to Ireland in 1997. Until 2019 he worked in the GP practice of Dr Paul McDonald in Cobh.
He moved to MyCorkGP when Dr Henry Smithson retired in order to maintain UCC’s links to the St Mary’s Primary Care Centre. He has a keen interest in medical education and research. His main research interests are in pharmacology and diabetes. He is married and has three grown-up children.
